What GENIE is and how to get started on any device
GENIE is an academic support and accountability platform built for tertiary institutions across Nigeria, Africa, and the wider Global South — universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and health institutions. It connects every actor in the academic process onto one system: students track and verify their attendance; parents and sponsors monitor academic progress in real time; lecturers manage their courses without paper registers; and institution administrators get live oversight of everything happening across their campuses.
It works across three surfaces simultaneously. The Native iOS and Android App handles the day-to-day needs of students and parents. The Enterprise Web Portal is the institutional command centre for administrators, Registrars, and leadership. The WhatsApp Bot is the zero-friction front door — it lets anyone get started in under 60 seconds without downloading anything at all.
You do not need to use all three. Most people start with one and add the others as they need more depth.
